What images can I print on fabrics?

A wide variety of images can be printed:

  • Photos taken with a mobile phone or a camera
  • Older photos in paper format.
  • Drawings
  • Tables, paintings
  • Texts, messages, names, dates

All fabric prints are made from digital files. So it is enough to digitize images on physical media (see below).

What fabrics are offered to print my photos or images?

We offer the reproduction of your photos on fabrics for making natural fiber, a material that offers many advantages:

  • A renewable natural material, not made from petroleum like polyester
  • Breathable textiles
  • Naturally beautiful fabrics

We favor organic cottons, linen or linen-cotton blends, and natural silk.

What to do if my photos, images, patterns are on paper or canvas?

You want to print old photos on paper, or drawings, paintings, or others? You must first digitize them. Here are 2 ways to do it, scanning or photographing:

  • Scanner: for small-sized images on flat supports, scanning is the best solution. Use the highest resolution your scanner provides. Professional reprography services have larger and high-resolution scanners.
  • Photographing using a digital camera or a phone, for large images like paintings, tapestries, etc. Ensure good even lighting (without shadows), and the correct orientation of the camera or phone to avoid image distortion (a photographed rectangle must remain rectangular, not trapezoidal).

What photo sizes can I print on fabric?

Several sizes are offered :

  • photo printed on organic cotton fabric, from small photo to large format, square or rectangular sizes: perfect for many small projects like sewing a photo on a bag, making a patchwork cushion with a photo in the center, embroidering a photo, sewing a photo on a comforter…
  • photo panel for patchwork: these fabric swatches are specially designed to personalize patchwork blankets with photos. Available in several photo sizes, all easy to integrate into patchwork blocks,

I want a print with dimensions different from those offered, what should I do?

If you want a print size between two available options, choose the higher option and crop your image smaller.

If you want a very large print, please contact us. The maximum size is about 140cm on the short side.

Can I print a repeated personal pattern on fabric?

Yes, you can send us your personal pattern and we will print it repeatedly on the chosen fabric. It is ideal for creating your own exclusive fabrics.

How to maintain my photo prints on fabric?

The organic cotton fabric printed with your photos is easy to care for.

  • Machine washing: to maintain bright colors, choosing a short wash program at a maximum of 30 degrees is recommended.
  • Drying on a line is preferable to using a tumble dryer.
  • Ironing with a hot iron at the appropriate temperature for the fiber, preferably on the reverse side.
